7 September with iPhone 7

The wait is over, the iPhone 7 is here! Yesterday, Apple launched the iPhone 7 which has been rumored and expected for the past months. The 7th wonder has some interesting changes, and more Apple information was also announced at the launching event.

New Look

Unlike the 6th version which launched the 6 plus later with an extra inch, this time Apple launched both the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 plus. The iPhone 7 is 4.7 inches while the plus is 5.5 inches (you’re definitely gonna need a purse ladies, not just jean pockets). Including the familiar colors, the iPhone 7 adds on the new shiny Jet Black color.

Let’s See Better

Of-course, Apple improved the camera; improved megapixel sensor, lens and flash. Instead of just improving one camera feature, Apple doubled it’s progress in the plus version (so we’re getting closer to your camera seeing what your eyes are seeing). The 2 cameras have 2 different focal lenses allowing for a better blur and focus effect.

Let’s Listen Too

Yes, the iPhone 7 does have a wireless headset (say goodbye to that aux-cord). AirPods, which contain a W1 chip, have leapt over the EarPods meaning you don’t need the hassle of and battery-draining Bluetooth connection. The good news is that you can use the Lightning cable to connect your favorite headset to the new phone.

A New Home

One of the things that has remained fairly constant in all the device upgrades of the iPhone has been the home button. Apple decided it’s about time to change it from being clicky to touch-responsive instead.

Stay Hydrated

The new phone, and the Apple Watch that was released simultaneously, is waterproof. Now you can throw away your Ziploc bags, rice packets, and waterproof phone case.

Extra Cool Things

No more annoying messages about running out of storage (well, we aren’t promising they will never come, but they will take longer to show up); the new phone has capacities of 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB. The iPhone is also said to be much faster in its processing because of the A10 Fusion chip. These chips are also more efficient in doing more with less battery which adds on to the longer battery life of the new phone – what we need.
