Today is the day the Apple watch finally launches! All Apple users are hyped and excited, but there is just one problem. Very few people in the United States will be able to get the watch today. Instead, stores have demonstration watches that people can try on to see which watch they want, and then an Apple employee will lead the customer through the online ordering process.
Apple has few in stock, and therefore could not ship a massive amount of Apple Watches to all Apple stores across not only the United States, but the entire world.
However, one store was able to order Apple Watches, and, to our knowledge, is the only store in the US to have Apple Watches for in-store purchase.
But before we go too far, we want to tell you that there are only 5 stores world-wide that are selling Apple Watches within the store and not online. The US store selling watches is: The Maxfield store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. However, the funny thing is, is that the store is not an Apple Store — it’s a fashion boutique!
By the time our Meredith Angels fly their way there — they will be sold out!
Many of those who have purchased their watch online are being told they will not receive their Apple Watch until June or later. A few others, however, who ordered April 10, will be getting their watch as soon as today!
Hopefully, Apple’s stunt to order online only will pay off in the long run.
